Welcome to Walton Firs Activity Centre for Young People
Walton Firs Activity Centre, is a delightful 28 acre site and is open to ALL youth groups. It offers many exciting leisure and educational activities, many taking place outdoors, for youngsters to take part in.
Walton Firs is affectionately remembered by many as a Scout Camp Site. It was purchased from the scout movement, by Walton Firs Foundation in June 2008. It is now enjoyed as an Activity Centre by many educational and activity organisations including schools, youth centres, Scouts, Guides faith and special needs groups.
The aim of the centre is to challenge youngsters, for them to experience and enjoy the world outside, to develop self-reliance and to learn new skills to take back to their communities.

You can also learn about our various fundraising projects, designed to develop and improve Walton Firs, which will make the learning experience even better. Walton Firs Foundation is a registered charity which receives no support from the Government or regular funding from external groups. All donations go directly to improving the site facilities. Administration costs are fully met by the non-profit making income generated from the Walton Firs Activity Centre.
