Our team of expert instructors have created a dynamic activity platform that allow you to create your own package. This will enable young people, parents, and family members who are aged 7 and over, to experience and conquer a challenging series of outdoor activities at Walton Firs! These activities will challenge you, build your skills and confidence, and best of all, see who out of your friends and family has the best spirit of adventure!
These activity packages are designed for five participants – mixed groups of children, parents and wider family members are welcomed. Each activity package offers two and a half hours of instructor-led and self-managed activities. Our morning sessions are delivered between 10am and 12:30pm, and our afternoon sessions run between 2:30pm and 5:00pm on weekdays and Saturdays.

When you attend, please bring with you some sturdy shoes (no open-toe shoes or flip-flops are allowed on activities), waterproof outdoor clothing, a water bottle and a hair-tie for all those with long hair. You can also make the most of our amazing site and bring a packed lunch for a picnic! We'll supply you with any necessary facemasks, gloves, hand sanitising liquid, and cleansed toilets for your use while you are with us. We also sell chocolates, cans of pop, and gifts in our on-site shop.

1. The activity packages described have been risk assessed and judged to be 'COVID-19 Secure'. All equipment, materials, and facilities will be quarantined and cleansed prior to young people's usage, to ensure that they do not carry the COVID-19 virus. All on-site facilities, including toilets and picnic areas, will be regularly deep-cleaned and sanitised, to ensure they are free of the COVID-19 virus.
2. To ensure we can provide a 'COVID-19 Secure' environment, all service users must agree to abide by our Six Golden Rules, in relation to social distancing, handwashing, mask-wearing, glove-wearing, consumption of food and drink, and use of the toilets. Staff will induct all service users into the Six Golden Rules upon arrival, and will give instructions to ensure the provision of a 'COVID-19 Secure' environment Where any person refuses to abide by these rules, they will be asked to leave the activity centre immediately.
3. All service users will be subject to a body temperature check upon arrival, using a non-invasive infrared thermometer. Where a person presents an elevated body temperature, they will be retested after a short rest period. If the person still presents an elevated body temperature, they will be asked to leave the activity centre immediately. In this scenario, no reimbursement of charges will be provided by Walton Firs Activity Centre.
4. Customers book and attend our services in the knowledge that, despite our making every effort to provide and maintain a 'COVID-19 Secure' environment, we will not accept liability for any alleged transmission of the virus whilst in our care. In respect of the Coronavirus, service users attend Walton Firs Activity Centre at their own risk.
