Instructed Activity

Minimum age: 10 years +

Session length: 55 mins

Group size (max): 12 participants

Recommended clothing: closed toe shoes, long hair tied back and no loose clothing (Scarves/Jewellery)

One of the most challenging activities in our new Bushcraft programme, Swedish Logs will challenge your patience and resource gathering skills, with a little bit of team building mixed in.

In this session we will teach you how to build and light your own swedish logs while you learn safe techniques to use hand cutting tools and a very siumple fire lighting method.

This is a great activity for younger ages, mixes well with Fire Lighting and Cooking and is a great first step before learning other skills like Advanced Fire Lighting

Please note that our Bushcraft area is not for general use, however you are more than welcome to use the resources you find to run your own bushcraft sessions.
