NSRA Air Rifle YPS Tutor Course

We are proud to announce our first course being run on site by the NSRA, National Small-Bore Rifle Association. The Youth Profficiency Scheme (YPS Tutor) course is designed to teach the skills and knowledge required to safely run a range with the use of Air Rifles, as well as helping to give you the skills to coach the basics of this target sport.

This is a two day course run from 9.00am to 5.00pm and has 12 places available. All the equipment will be provided by the site and trainer so all you need to bring is a packed lunch and water bottle. The kettle is always hot and ready for teas and coffees.

Those who successfully complete the course receive a NGB certificate, which equips candidates to run have-a-go sessions in air rifle shooting and also to take young people for introduction to shooting over a longer period (as in Scouts or other uniformed groups). It is the standard qualification used by members of the British Activity Holdiay Association (BAHA) and also written into Scout POR's

Course Dates: May 11th - 12th 2024
