Is the site secure?
Yes. CCTV covers the car park and entrance areas, there are no public footpaths crossing our grounds and the site is ringed by a perimeter fence. It is helpful if leaders can remind campers not to climb fences.
When and how should we pay the bill?
Payment should be made before your departure, or before your camp. Payments can be made by cash or cards, and by cheques or BACS transfer.
Where do ashes have to be put at the end of our visit?
Ashes should be emptied into the labelled metal dustbins, located behind the woodpile. You MUST NOT put hot ashes in the skips.
What waste disposal facilities are there?
We have general waste skips, which also double as our recycling bins, located in the main car park. Rubbish is sorted by the disposal company.
Can we freeze ice blocks?
There is a freezer and a refrigerator in the service crew bungalow porch for campers to use. Anything left in the fridge/freezer is left at your own risk and responsibility.

If you would like to take part in any of our evening activities please contact reception for availability.
Early access
If you wish to gain access to the site before your booked timeslot, this can be arranged upon request by contacting one of the team. Please be aware this may incur additional cost.
Is bottled gas available?
Yes - a wide range of different sizes of propane and butane gas is available from the shop on site.
Are dogs permitted?
Only assistance dogs are permitted on site (with prior permission from site management).
