Activity Risk Assessments

We take safety extremely seriously at Walton Firs and all of our activities have been risk assessed, with copies of these documents available for group leaders to download below. All the activities we run are also covered by our own insurance policies.

Groups are expected to do their own risk assessment for any activity, such as tree climbing, not reviewed by ourselves, and to have appropriate insurance in place.

Standard Risk Assessments

We have provided the below risk assessments for our buildings as a guide for our user groups however we know that every group is very different. We therfore recommend that groups attend for a site visit to help them to create their own 'Trip Risk Assessments' that will cover the needs of their group, as well as the activities they plan to do in the buildings.

We endeavour to keep everyone at Walton Firs safe to which point we have fire risk assessments completed for all our buildings, pod villages and camping grounds, with copies of these documents available for group leaders to download below. All the accommodation we have are covered by our own insurance policies.

Groups are expected to do their own risk assessment for any activities, they wish to partake inside our accommodations, and to have appropriate insurance in place.
