Bushcraft - Fire lighting or Shelter Building

                      Minimum age: 7+

                 Session length: 55 mins

          Group size (max): 12 participants

   Recommended clothing: closed toe shoes,           warm coats, long hair tied back and trousers.

Fire Lighting

In this Bushcraft session, our instructors will teach you safe and enjoyable techniques to start fires that can be used for multiple purposes from cooking to survival.

You will see a range of approaches to start your fire, from rubbing two sticks together to chemical fires.

Our sessions are delivered in safe and controlled environments designed for bushcraft exploration.

Shelter Building

In this Bushcraft session, our instructors will teach you safe and enjoyable techniques to build many different  types of shelters, and the pros and cons of each style. 

They will also cover how the environment, weather etc can and should affect your style and choice of build. You will build the shelters of your choice, then we will put them to the test....
